I regret to have to say that we have had to cancel the Fall Dive
Conference for this year. Our registration numbers are very low and
along with other concerns of presenters and class instructors we cannot
put the conference together. We are hoping to bring together
suggestions and ideas to provide a better and more informative
conference for September 2012 and hope that your interest will continue
to be supportive at that time. We will be looking for your
suggestions/comments for discussion at the September 11th meeting at the
Baldwinsville FD Station 1 at corner of Downer & Crego. |

Last month we took out the underwater video camera to get some practice in deploying it. After some minor technical difficulties getting the camera in service we were able to take it into the lake with three divers. We discussed some of the difficulties and limitations of our current setup and how we might rectify this. We will soon be implementing a solution to be able to record the video feed. |

A
Fireman's Prayer
When I am called to duty, God
Wherever Flames may rage
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever Be its age
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert and
Hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me
To guard my every neighbor
And protect their property
And if according to your will
I have to lose my life
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife |
